Norbury Farm is situated in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, close to Staffordshire and bordered by the River Dove. The 550 acre farm has been run by the Robinson family since 1973, and is currently operated by Andrew Robinson and his wife Michele, assisted by a team of experienced and dedicated workers.
The main enterprise of the farm is dairy, producing around 5,500 litres of milk per day from the home-bred herd of pedigree Holstein Friesian cows. For nearly 40 years there have been no cows brought onto the farm, as all the animals at Norbury have been born and bred here.
The majority of the farm land is a sandy/medium loam which is ideal for growing a range of fodder crops. All the crops produced at Norbury are fed to the animals here, with the small amount of excess produce currently sold to a local firm for chicken feed.
